Message from the President

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

It is with great honour and a deep sense of gratitude, that I take up the responsibility of leading our Vibrant Club ( RMV) as its 28th President ( RY-23-24). I thank all the club members for reposing faith in me and entrusting me with this responsibility. I and my team will do our best to serve our club and our Community in the Rotary Year 23-24.

Rotary International President Rtn. Gordon R. McInally has envisioned the Theme of “Create Hope in the World”. We as Rotarians, can do a lot to create hope in the society we live and thus make a difference to this world through our evergreen motto of Service above Self. ( Eg of Covid period, Usha and Sundar)

I am confident that, with the support of our beloved DG Rtn. V. Srinivas Murthy, and all District Officials, we should be able to Create Hope in the World through our Selfless Services befitting a Rotarian.

Our focus area this year will be Membership Development, Mental Health and well-being, adaptation of an Old Age Home, Lake Rejuvenation under the avenue of Environmental Service, Maternal and Child Care and Elderly Care.

I request all my fellow Rotarians and our club members to come forward and support us in our Mission of Creating Hope in the World by participating in all club projects under different avenues of Services.

Without Taking much time, I once again thank all and one present in this room and also to my family for bearing with my hectic parlances and supporting me throughout.

Rtn. Pranjit Dutta

Pranjit is a highly skilled professional with 23 years of rich experience in the Solar Energy Domain. He Served as VP Operations in the Kotak Group and now is an Entrepreneur running his own Solar Company.

Pranjit has been a Rotarian for the past 8 years and has served in avenues as Secretary, Club Service Director, Vocational Service Director, Community Service Director and Chair –Water & Sanitations.

He brings in lot of passion and dedication in work and is a committed Rotarian with a motto of Service above self.

He is also associated with the Assamese Diaspora in Bangalore and is serving as President- Assam Association Bangalore.

Pranjit completed his graduation in Agriculture from Assam Agricultural University and did his MBA from SDM-IMD , Mysore before joining Duroflex, the mattress Company under campus placement.

He hails from Assam, Guwahati and is settled in Bangalore for the past 25 years with his Spouse Snigdha Dutta and 2 Sons - Abheek and Meyyan.
