Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas, Club ID 31297, is a part of Rotary International District 3192.

The club was chartered on 12th February 1996 with Rtn. S.K Bajaj as its Charter President and PDG Nagaraju G. as the Governor’s Special Representative (GSR).

Our Club started with a humble membership strength of 27 members. Since then the club has grown in strength through members and projects. The club has completed 25 years of commitment and excellence in service in the year 2021.

We meet every Friday at 7:00 pm at the RMV Club, online or at any of the service project locations.

Today we are a group of over 60 members who are passionate about selfless service to the community.

HALL OF FAME

Our club entered the Hall of Fame with 100% Paul Harris Fellows during the year 2004-05 under the leadership of PP Rtn. Usha Medina.

Our Vision

Our world faces many crisis & challenges, such as human rights abuse & poverty which undermine social harmony & development. To confront these crisis & challenges, their root causes must be addressed by sharing the spirit of human solidarity that takes many forms, the simplest ones being practice and promotion of peace & friendship while serving our communities.

Our club, Rotary Rajmahal Vilas, as the name suggests, is a resource of mentors & volunteers. Hence, keeping the idea of growing Rotary in general and our club in particular, we have adopted the following Vision statement:

“Together, we find joy in promoting peace & friendship through service, and to create a lasting change in our communities”

To commemorate the Silver Jubilee with its glorious 25 years of service from 1996 to 2021, the club brought out a Coffee Table Book to showcase the immeasurable services rendered by the club to the deserving sections of the society. The club acknowledges all the good work done by its members and officers in bringing the club to this stature over the years and making it fly among the fraternity.

Dear friends and Rotarians,

My greetings to you!

Rotary is a 116 years old international service organisation with its headquarters in the USA and operations in over 200 countries. The objective of this organisation is to develop friendship, leadership and serve the community. Our members are from different fields of education, profession, expertise and good performers in their respective professions. This makes them suitable to participate, lead and serve the community.

Rotary International under its umbrella has Rotary Districts. Under each Rotary District are several Rotary clubs. Each Rotary Club for formation has its well defined geographical territory.

Rotary Rajmahal Vilas started in 1996, is a part of Rotary District 3190. We have about 67 members at present and meet once a week at Rajmahal Vilas Club or online. Our members are a close-knit family, who support each other and the community.

We have undertaken various service projects in our neighbourhood and other areas. Some of the service projects completed by us are Drishti Eye Surgical Wing at Drishti Hospital, Devanahalli and Sled Dialysis centre at People Tree Hospital.

Some of our ongoing projects are Avoidable Blindness, Koira lake rejuvenation, DULT-SuMA and Covid relief. Taking up new service projects is a continuous process.

We are open to invite and induct new members. Please join us to enjoy our friendship, leadership development and serve the community.
