Computer systems in working condition from software companies were collected, upgraded and installed at various institutions to offer computer training to the poor and needy. It was a joint project with the state government during the tenure of Shri S. M. Krishna as the Chief Minister who inaugurated the project.
In the following years, Rotary Rajmahal Vilas has been donating every year exercise books to nearly 600 poor school children. The club so far has contributed nearly Rs.2 lakhs over the years.
We have been instrumental in assisting girl students get back to school under the Asha Kiran Project of Rotary India Literacy Mission.
We have donated e-learning kits and solar lamps to the rural Bachahalli school in Devanahalli Taluk, enabling 10th-grade students to study at home during power cuts.
In 2021, the club in conjunction with Rotary Bangalore West handed over 21 electronic tablets to the school. The tablets, to be shared by two students, were integrated with the 10th standard school syllabus.
