With hearts full of joy and pride, we are thrilled to announce the successful inauguration of the Mobile Bridge School & Library Project – our flagship initiative at Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas. This momentous occasion, held on March 14, 2025, at the RMV Club House, Bengaluru, marks a profound step toward transforming lives by reintegrating out-of-school children into the education system. It stands as a testament to our enduring commitment to literacy and the belief that every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
The event began at 5:30 PM with an inspiring ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mobile Education Bus, led by DGE Rtn Dr. Elizabeth Cherian, Club President Rtn Deepa Sashindran and Project Head Rtn Kirti Mehta. This was followed by an engaging discussion and meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the RMV Club, where the project’s vision and its potential to change lives were beautifully shared.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of: Chief Guests: PDG H Rajendra Rai and DGE Rtn Dr. Elizabeth Cherian
This remarkable initiative was made possible by the incredible generosity of M/s. V2 Solutions (IT Solution Provider) is a passionate advocate for literacy and a recurring benefactor to our club projects, and the tireless dedication of the Samndhdhi Trust, Bangalore (an NGO) engaged by our Club for implementing and running this project.
A defining moment of the event was the ceremonial handover of the Mobile Van key to the Samridhi Trust, symbolising a new chapter of opportunity for countless children. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Mr Kirit Mozaria for his steadfast support and invaluable contributions, without which this dream might not have been realised.
To our extraordinary Rotarians, led by our Rtn Kirti Mehta – Project Director, Club Mentor Rtn Rajaram Krishnamurthy this achievement would not have been possible without you. Your passion, hard work, and unwavering dedication behind the scenes have truly breathed life into this project. You have not only built a bridge to education but also lit a path of hope for children who need it most.
As we move forward, let us reaffirm our shared belief: education is not a privilege – it is the foundation of equality and opportunity. Together, through Rotary, we continue to champion a future where education is accessible to all.
