In a landmark move towards inclusive public sanitation, Rotary International District 3192, in collaboration with Sulabh International and Rotary Bangalore Rajmahalvilas, successfully inaugurated India’s first-ever Gender-Neutral & Accessible Public Toilets on March 28, 2025, at 12 PM, opposite Upparpet Police Station, Bengaluru.

This first-of-its-kind initiative ensures dignified, safe, and accessible sanitation facilities for all genders, including the third gender and persons with disabilities (PwDs). The toilets are designed to be barrier-free, hygienic, and inclusive, catering to the diverse needs of urban communities.

The event was inaugurated by Rtn. Flt. Lt. K P Nagesh, RI Director (2025-27), along with the presence of our distinguished leaders from our District as well as from the Trans Gender Community:
