Rotary Rajmahal Vilas has been over the years consistently participating in the DISTRICT AVOIDABLE BLINDNESS project providing free eye check-up in rural areas, children in government schools, cataract surgery to the needy. Under this district project, our club has contributed Rs. 2 lakhs and more in the following years which have benefitted nearly 1000 beneficiaries.
In the subsequent years, eye checking camps were conducted for the elderly and in Bangalore government schools for children. The eye check-up camp was concluded with the distribution of spectacles for children. In 2019, our club was awarded for the most number of schools covered for eye camp and distribution of spectacles.
